1. Find a role worth applying for
Copy the full job description before it disappears. The exact JD is useful for CV tailoring, interview prep, and future reference.
2. Use the CV Library
Store up to three reusable CV sources, such as Master CV, Leadership CV, and Technical CV. These are reusable source documents, not replacements for the exact submitted CV saved inside each job card.
3. Build the strongest role-specific CV prompt
Click ⭐ Build Strongest CV, select the CVs you want to use, paste the job description, then generate a prompt for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Copilot, or another AI assistant.
4. Apply properly from your computer
Tailor the CV, review it manually, apply through the company or job board, and keep a copy of exactly what you submitted.
5. Create or import the Career CRM card
Add the role manually or use AI with the exported Template Card JSON to create an importable Career CRM card. Use Import Card(s) so you do not replace your whole board.
6. Archive the exact application record
Paste the full job description, exact submitted CV text, exact cover letter, application questions and answers, recruiter notes, follow-up dates, and anything useful for interviews.
7. Prepare for interviews
Open the card and use Generate Interview Prep Prompt. When AI returns the interview prep JSON, use Import Interview Prep to store the prep pack directly inside the card.
8. Manage your pipeline visually
Use the board columns, List view, Analytics, Today’s Actions, and the new per-column Full Size / Compact toggles to control how much detail you see in each stage.
9. Back up regularly
Use Export Backup. Your data is stored locally in your browser, so backups are important.

Open a card and use Generate Interview Prep Prompt. The prompt is designed to create a practical interview prep pack using the saved job description, submitted CV, cover letter, application notes, and card context.
Career CRM expects interview prep to be imported as interview prep JSON only. This protects the existing application card from being replaced accidentally.
Each board column has its own Full Size / Compact toggle.
This is useful when one column has many jobs but another column still needs full detail.
Use Career Workspace for job-search notes that do not belong to one specific card: reminders, ideas, recruiter notes, companies to watch, salary thoughts, article ideas, or anything else you want to remember.
Import Backup restores a full backup and replaces the current board.
Import Card(s) adds or updates individual cards without replacing the whole dashboard. If a card already exists, Career CRM lets you merge, replace, duplicate, or skip it.
Export Backup downloads your full local data. Use it regularly. Career CRM stores data in your browser, so backups protect you if the browser profile, device, or local storage is lost.
Because Career CRM stores data in your browser, opening a newer HTML version in the same browser will usually show your existing data. To test a clean blank version, use another browser, incognito/private mode, or clear that browser’s local Career CRM data.
